Single-Core Side-Emitting Insulated Fibre Cable
Single-core side-emitting fibre cables are insulated in a clear UV-protected sheath. The fibre core is made of PMMA (PolyMethylMethAcrylate) and transmits cold light from the illuminator with no electricity or heat in the fibre cable.
Side-emitting fibres emit light from their sides and ends, making them ideal for chandeliers and low-ambient strip lighting to outline or define a shape or object. Other applications include architectural models, decorative features, and artworks such as sculptures.
