Commercial-grade acoustic starlight panel
StarEFX PULSE panels combine acoustic performance with a premium starry-light feature in a modular panel format. Built from polyester fibre (PET), PULSE is ideal for spaces where both ambience and sound control matter – including home theatres, media rooms, gaming rooms, sensory spaces, studios, offices, waiting rooms and commercial feature ceilings.
Installed properly – MDF Battens + Border C-Channel system
PULSE is now a complete ceiling solution using:
MDF Battens (MDF-2400X150X9) – provides a consistent fixing substrate so panels can be secured accurately and repeatedly across the ceiling.
StarEFX Border C-Channel Rail (STAREFX-CEIL/END) – creates a crisp perimeter border finish, conceals batten edges, and provides an integrated mounting provision for a perimeter LED strip.
This approach improves panel security, speeds up alignment, and delivers a cleaner architectural finish than panel-only installs.
Optional perimeter lighting – no track, no diffuser required
When used with the StarEFX Border C-Channel, you can optionally add a high-density RGBIC COB LED strip to create an even perimeter wash. Because the C-Channel sits close to the ceiling line, the specified COB strips are selected to deliver uniform light with no visible LED dots, without needing an LED track or diffuser.
Control options – WiFi/app + optional wireless remote
PULSE lighting is WiFi and app controlled, giving you access to on/off, dimming, colours, and programmed animations. For projects that also need simple, tactile control (kids’ rooms, healthcare, staff areas, short-stay accommodation), you can add the wireless remote option for:
