Outdoor and Wet Area Fittings
Paver fittings set the finished light point into a driveway, path, pool surround, deck or retaining wall. The fibre terminates inside the fitting body and the light passes out through the lens, so nothing electrical sits in the paving or in the water. That is what makes fibre optic the safest way to light a trafficable or wet surface.
LightEFX supplies paver fittings in 316 stainless steel and in frosted glass, in both round and square profiles, so the fitting can be matched to the paving module and to the surrounding hardware.
Choosing a paver fitting
Stainless steel
316 stainless steel bodies for driveways, pool copings and areas that take foot or vehicle traffic. The heavier option, and the one to specify near saltwater or a chlorinated pool where corrosion resistance matters most.
Frosted glass
Frosted glass lenses diffuse the point of light into a softer wash, which suits garden paths, steps and decking where a bright pinpoint would glare. A lower cost per fitting for larger runs.
Round or square
Both profiles are available in either material. Square fittings sit cleanly into modular paving and tile grids; round fittings suit poured concrete, aggregate and informal landscaping.
What else the installation needs
A paver fitting is the end of the chain. Behind it sits a run of end-emitting fibre optic cable back to an LED illuminator mounted somewhere dry and accessible. Because LightEFX sells cable by the metre, each fitting can be run at its exact length rather than coiling off a fixed roll.
For a continuous glowing line rather than discrete points, along a pool perimeter or a step nosing, use side-emitting cable instead of fittings. Many outdoor jobs combine the two.
