Material and performance
LightEFX PET Acoustic Panels are manufactured from 100% recycled polyester (PET) acoustic felt, made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. The panels are lightweight (~4.5 kg/m²), easy to cut and install, and contain no formaldehyde or volatile organic compounds.
All panels are fire rated to AS 5637.1-2015 and suitable for commercial, institutional, and residential applications. The 128-colour range uses Australian landscape-inspired names, from Bleached Sand and Ghost Gum through to Southern Ocean and Night Sky. The range includes over 20 dark and neutral tones: charcoals, blacks, slate greys, and deep navy, ideal for dedicated cinema rooms, media spaces, and recording studios.
Panels can be adhesive-mounted, mechanically fixed with concealed fasteners, or trimmed on site with standard tools. Stock colours ship immediately; non-stock colours are available on 4 to 6 week lead time.
