Connect your LightEFX controller to your computer with a USB cable, then click Connect & Install. It all runs in your browser — nothing to download. You'll be asked for your Wi-Fi details so the controller joins your network automatically.

2 Update over Wi-Fi no cable needed

If your controller is already running and on your network:

  1. Open the controller in a browser (its IP address, or http://wled-xxxx.local).
  2. Go to Config → Security & Updates.
  3. Download the firmware below and upload the .bin file under Update.

If a Wi-Fi update ever fails, you can always recover the controller with the USB method above.
