Installation
Easily install these panels as ceiling tiles in a 1200×600 mm A24 suspended grid system, making them an ideal lighting feature for lobbies or patient waiting rooms. The panels significantly enhance both the acoustics and aesthetics of the space.
Star ceiling panels are secured onto drywall using 6 plaster screws, with a low voltage cable connecting each panel in a daisy chain method for power. One 12V power supply supports up to 24 panels. A General Power Outlet (GPO) is required for the power supply, and a wall switch is needed to turn the starry lights on/off. The optional control module enables remote control of the starlight colour and on/off functionality.
StarEFX Panel Modes
Panels come standard in a standalone mode where the star lights shine white, however, the panels can shine in colour with the optional control module.
- Standalone – Panels operate in a simple on/off mode displaying white shimmering star lights.
- Controller mode (optional) – Enables the color selection and program modes controlled by the wireless remote.
